This week I made a new friend in class, Valeria Gonzalez. Her favorite type of art is movies, and she attends CSULB in hopes to have a career in recreational therapy. I asked her the question of the week, which was if art is important. She believes that art is important, because it is a different way of one expressing themselves. Valeria considers art to be therapeutic, fun, and creative. She believes art to be therapeutic, because it rehabilitates a person’s level of functioning. She said that art can be distracting, allowing one to enter another world.
